This award-winning patented hybrid patio rose is a breakthrough breed for container roses and ground-cover roses: strongly disease resistant as well as tolerant of summer heat and humidity and winter chill, all while providing beautiful, continual blooms on a compact dark glossy bush form. The double flowers are crimson, and loaded with petals - 85 to 90, packing a lot of floral punch in a small-package. Along with standing up well to heat, humidity, and drought, having been put through its paces in a range of climates, True Love exhibits a remarkable resistance against disease and is easy to grow. The foliage is dark and glossy, a handsome backdrop for the intensely colorful flowers. Find True Love a home in a decorative container, planted near the front of a rose garden or in a mixed grouping, or mass it along a foundation. Dig a planting hole of 2 ft. x 2 ft. with 2 to 3 ft. of space between plants. Roses do best in a well-drained, loamy soil containing organic compost. Water thoroughly after planting and water 3 times per-week after new growth. Plant where it will receive at least 6-hours of sunlight per-day. Feed during spring and summer with a water-soluble 20-20-20 fertilizer. Prune in early spring to rejuvenate plant. If growing in a container, it does not need to be repotted until-year three. After-year three, it will require a 5 Gal. or larger container. Cold hardy to Zone 4.
